About

Founded in 2008 by Kevin Leonce Phonica Magazine UK launched its first issue, covering games and mobile phones, as a digital publication. Initially the magazine covered reviews, previews, features and interviews. As the publication gathered momentum the team's passion and hard work slowly began to bear success, having been shortlisted in 2011 as a finalist in the Technology and Gadget Magazine of the Year category for the Digital Magazine Awards.

Focusing on Apps, Gadgets, Games, Mobile Phones and Technology each issue promises to deliver a balance of engaging unique content, design and illustration; creating a visual treat and the ultimate reader experience.

We've decided that we aren't experts on bombarding our readers with news, or battling to post the same information that every other blog and magazine may already be doing. But, if that's what you're after, we'd be more than delighted to point you in the direction of a few top notch sites or magazines that do so.

We're here to bring you exclusive content and buzz worthy editorials that, chances are, you won't read anywhere else...all while showcasing exceptional eye catching illustrations. After all magazines, whether digital or print, are primarily geared to be visual treats!

With a team that's knowledgeable and passionate about games, mobiles and all the tech stuff we deliver issue after issue. Without them our magazine would have been just another idea we talked about in between that all night gaming marathon six years ago. These are the guys and girls that have all made Phonica Magazine UK possible - past and current:

Scott Tierney, Rob Hobson, Alex Morrison, Yasser Khan, Alex Russell, Ashka Thacker, Christopher Harris, Elena Biagi, Ian Duncan, Matt Foley, Penelope Phillips.

So if you're reading this and think you'd fit in with the bunch, drop us an email. We're always on the lookout for contributors.

Have a great story that you think it's worth telling then we'd love to hear it!
